Has anyone dealt with Dr Roy Kimble, a surgeon at the Royal Childrens Hospital in Brisbane? My litle one is scheduled for surgery and would appreciate any feed back, both good or bad.

Hello :o)
Was curious how things went with your child and their surgery.
My 2yo son is schedule for a 'divide tongue tie' surgery next month and am a little anxious. Love to hear how things went for you.

Hi,
I actually went to the gold coast hospital as they could do it sooner. The surgery went well.
I prepared my little one by saying that a mask would be put over their face. You can breath and talk. the doctor might ask you to count. I'll be there with you. And you'll fall asleep and not feel any pain will the doctor fixes their hand. . the doctor will fix you hand. When you wake up the nurse will come and get me. you'll have a bandage on you hand.
This worked a treat as his previous surgery was a fight to get the mask on and caused a lot of distress.
I wish i had gone to brisbane as their after care seemed to be more substantial than the gold coast.
Hope all goes well.
