After advice from anyone who has had experience with designing, manufacturing and marketing a new product...
I have an idea for something that I would like to have made and sold, but I have no idea how to go about doing it. Obviously the first step is to make a prototype and get a design finalised and patented but then what? How would you finance something like this? How do you find a manufacturer? The marketing bit I could manage but it is more finding someone to make a certain amount for me, or at least components which I could then use to construct the final product...Oh and because of the type of product it is it may have to pass certain safety requirements. Not sure on this point so will have to look into it...
