I can't decide on a girl name, and I've narrowed the list to 4. What is your favorite of these...
Lexi (would be used as full name, not just a nn)
Jasmine
Kylie
Taliyah (Tuh-lee-uh)

I would really appreciate your opinion. Thanks!

Jasmine!!!

Lexi is nice but when the child is at school, I can imagine other kids will tease her saying her name is shortened from 'dyslexia' (kids can be cruel)
Kylie is okay, middle name perhaps???
Taliyah is a pretty name, but beware of unusual spellings, as I've got an unusual name and always have to spell it (it is a pain and if I had $1 for everytime, I'd be a billionaire and never have to work!!)

Just my 2c worth!!
Good luck with naming your baby! Z :)

I like Jasmine....I had a friend who spelt her daughters name Jazmine just to be a bit different.
Taliyah is very nice too.Would you use Tali for short?
Lexi reminds me of the punk girl that was on prisoner ;) ..sorry.

Working in childcare i have met many children and i know when i chose Imys names i was limited because i have memories that were evoked from names- but this is what i think of your name choices... All good i promise.

I have never had a child called lexi, or kylie.

I have had 3 jasmines over 8 years and all of them have been princesses- very cheeky but dainty and loving.

And i've looked after only 1 taliyah- and she was just adorable- she was gentle, and loving. Very loyal to her mates and placid as a bub- but when she got cranky boy did she let rip. I really enjoyed her personality- so i would choose this one!

But in the end when she's born watch her for a few hours she'll let you know who she is!

Sorry to babble- late night- early morning (you all understand)

I like Kylie as it's my name. Maybe you should bring it back seeing as though it's stuck in the 70's!!!!!

i like Lexi followed by Jasmine. I agree to be wary of unusual spellings. I reckon it would be such a pain to have your name spelt wrong 2 times out of 3. I even get annoyed with the variations of Rachel and it's pretty common. I think people's could find so many weird and wonderful spelling variations of Taliyah so even though it sounds beautiful, i would personally steer clear.
good luck :)

i Really Love Taliyah! But My Daughters Name Is Tyllee (pronounce Tilly) And My Son Is Bailey, So Maybe I'm A Bit Biased And Like The Lee Sound In Names. :)

I agree! I too have unusual name, but lets not go there he he

Jasmine is my vote. Just to hear the name is so peaceful…

Definitely not Lexi, I have to say it has no character in my ear, except it’s remind me of my MIL’s car Lexus!

Good luck, I’m sure whatever you choose your bub WILL love it! I know my name is unusual, but I absolutely LOVE it!

I like Taliyah the best, then Lexi...i agree with the warnings from everyone about differently spelt names, but if everyone stuck to the same old spelling, wouldn't it be a bit boring??? No offence to anyone who likes the classically spelt names, but i myself prefer to be a bit different....Good luck choosing!! :)

My brothers daughter is (Tuh-lee-uh) but spelt Talia. Sometimes she gets Tar Lee Ah which is usually spelt Tahlia. So definitely be careful with the spelling.

I think its a beautiful name.

Tahliya is probably the one I like most.
Lexi reminds me of a character on one of the soaps (Young and Restless I think) which reminds me of something my mum said once about mums who stay at home and watch soaps... they tend to choose names of characters for their kids. Lots of girls have popped up with the name Taylor in recent years (Bold and Beautiful) and I'm sure there are plenty of other examples!
I'm not a big fan of common last names becoming first names (Taylor is one example).

hey, i think tahliyah is beautiful and i love the way you've spelt it :) I think Tahlyiah-Jasmine would be a beautiful name for a little girl. :) You'll know once you've had the baby and looked at her what her name should be.

I like Lexi best.
In Cairns there is a Crocodile Adventure Park and there is a lovely eclectus parrot there called Lexi. She is really smart and sweet and she won my heart totally.
