View Full Version : Temp question...
My cycle is usually 29-30 days and so I assume I O around CD15/16.
I havent used FF yet though my temps over the last few days run like this:
CD15- 36.0
CD16- 36.3
CD17- 36.5
CD18- 36.5
CD19- 36.6
CD20- 36.6 (Today)
So do you ovulate when your temp is up or before your temp rises???
TIA!;)

Hi Bailey's Mum,
Do you have your temp for CD14 ??? out of curiosity....if you O'd on CD15/16 then you'd need to know what your temp was CD14 to be able to pin point for sure...
:fingerscrossed: good luck
ps you O on the day after the temp falls
I thought you O'd the day the temp took the dip, and so long as its elevated for 3 or more days O should be confirmed!
you can always joing FF www.fertilityfriend.com

when you ovulate; the temp's are picking up progesterone....on the 1st day your temp rises is the level of progesterone that it's measuring. We need progesterone to sustain a pregnancy.
While our temps are low it's measuring oestergen....ie: no eggie
CD 14 - Temp 36.0
So does this mean I probable Od on CD16 just before my 3 consecutive days of high temps???
Sorry girls, im so not up with all the TTC stuff :o

Hi Bailey's Mum,
lol, I've just being back through the notes that FF sent me on joining...
FF notes this "Your basal body temperature rises after ovulation due to increased progesterone in your bloodstream" (I was kinda right:rolleyes: )
Your temp was 36.3 CD16 - that's when you O'd I would say.....as your temp went up the next day 0.02 of a degree (that's all that is needed for progesterone levels to rise) and it's stayed up since CD17
:fingerscrossed:
I agree, i think you O'd on CD16 as well!!
good luck!!
Thanks heaps and heaps girls! Your all the best! I appreciate all your knowledge and advice! :hugs:
:fingerscrossed: for lots of BFPS this month!
