I need the advice from the bubhub chefs!! ;)

I have just cooked some tarts, made with things like mushrooms, onion pinenuts ect.

Now I have put some fetta in it, can I freeze these???????

I have made heaps!!! :o

You could sit them in a cooler box with dry ice and send them to me!!!! :yes: Yummooooo they sound delicious!!!

whats the base made out of?
Is the topping just a topping, or is it a filling like a quiche?
I'm not overly sure about the fetta and how it goes frozen.. I usually eat it straight and it doesnt have time to go near the fridge let alone freezer lol.

LOL I have made it with puff pastry, then topped it with mush, onion, aspar, pinenuts, fetta.

i freeze fetta by itself in a zip lock bag nad its fine when defrosted does tend not to be as firm as when it hasnt been frozen but as for the tarts- no idea. i would say so, look at all the stuff you can buy frozen these days:thumbsup:

i was a chef in my pre-baby life and used to make tarts and freeze them all the time( great for functions or a quik speacial) and fetta will freeze well but can be a little dry when you defrost it, if your reheating in a oven just brush on or spray a little olive oil !!!
