I have been experiencing achiness in the general pelvic/pubic region for a month or so, which I believe is completely normal, especially for second/subsequent bubs. However in the last week or so this has become really quite painful. Whenever I get up from sitting of lying my pubic area (at the front where my pubes are - sorry tmi!) is really quite painful - to the point where I feel like I have to hobble for a couple of steps. It seems to ease fairly quickly once I have been up and about - still not overly comfortable, but not really painful.
I have an ante natal appt today so will ask about it then. But, was wondering if anyone else has experienced this kind of feeling? Is it normal? Could bub be engaged? what does that feel like? Ds was breech(the entire way through) so I think that is another reason some of the feelings this time seem foreign to me. btw, I am 36 weeks.

Hi :wave:
Sorry to hear about the pain you have. I can't really help you as I am only 21 weeks along with my first, although I have experienced pelvic pain from the start.
However, there is another thread on the same issue that you might find helpful, here is the link;

hi you have probably already talked with your midwife about this but just wanted to add in with my 2nd pregnancy i had alot of discomfort around pubic area especially towards the end and my midwife showed me some exercises i could do to help relieve it - i remember one was sitting on a chair backwards but can't really remember them, maybe you could ask your midwife
