How many bubhubbers have large families? How many are planning on having a large family and why?

I've recently given birth to my 5th child but I also have a step-daughter so we have a grand total of 6 kiddies! My hubby would like to have more, but I'm not so sure. Whatever the case, it wont be for a long time. I want to enjoy mothering the ones I have already, plus I'd really like to re-enter the workforce for a few years before even contemplating more.

What are your views on big families?

We have 4 and will TTC #5 in about 3 yrs :) I would love to have more but physically can't (limited due to pregnancy complications and having all c-sects) so we are looking into foster care.

A large family just means more cuddles and kisses! :D

Will soon be a family five, my twins are due in dec

But this will be the last time maybe :crying: Would of have had five children in four years, but I may be able to change DH mind :devil6:

I dont have to go back to work untill all of the kids are in full time school, that was the deal I made with DH. I just love been a Yummy Mummy, it 's all I ever wanted to do!

we have 6, and thats it for us.

I do sometimes feel someone is missing when they are all there, but, nope, cant go through another pregnancy, too tiring. No more room in the car, and I want to sleep at nights LOL

we were going to stop at 5, but had suprise number 6, which thankfully was a girl after 5 boys. After we had the twins, and they were both boys, we thought nope, not going to chance having another boy, we felt 5 was enough.

But all worth it in the end, and are happy. Being preg with DD was exhausting, she was the smallest bubs, yet I was so uncomfortable all the time, tired, run down.. cant go through it all again.

we are 4 expecting 5 - doesn't seem to have a category in the poll for this status. It will probably be the last one but I never say never!!;)

We have 6 and I'll have what I'm given - DH is not so fussed 'cos he actually does the hard yakka of looking after them, but who knows ?

We have 3 of each and they get on really well together. They're good at school and generally okay manners-wise - why not continue using our parenting expertise I say ?

I would love 5 or more!

Once AF returns, we will be TTC #2. No hurry though!

We have 5 aged from 11 months to 11 years. I'm not allowed to have any more, the mere hint of it sends my husband to the knife drawer so's he can hack his testicles off :D . Ok, slight exageration but ya get my point :p

Hello
We had originally planned on 3, then after the 2nd (horrendous birth) I said no way, never again, then silly me went and had #3 anyway, and then we couldnt decide on #4 but he came along as a surprise, and he is now 3 mths old and a total delight, now I am insane, as I am thinking of #5!!

And I get hyperemesis with my pregnancies so I am really really silly to be thinking of #5, really do NOT like vomiting every 30 minutes for the first half of the pregnancy, and being in and out of hospital on the drip, and I then vomit at least once a day for the rest of the pregnancy till I give birth, so dont think I ever want to do that again, plus I have damaged my esophagus and stomach sphincter from extremely severe heartburn/acid and constant vomiting, so dont know if I will need surgery to fix that later on, we are waiting to see if it rectifies itself.

So i guess at the moment we have 4, and are thinking of TTC #5!!
But not for about 2-3 years.

Take care
Kylie

Number 5 is due in April, not sure how many there will be, probably when my body says enough!!
My husband seriously wants 10, no joke, I will be willing to go for 6 (I think....lol)

Jo....

PS, I never imagined myself with 1 let alone 5, didnt think I could do it, but as each baby came, you just seem to acclimatise....

We're hoping to have a large family, we've talked about having 5 kids all up but I don't know how my body will cope (don't have any yet!)

We'll just have to see what life brings us, I suppose.

We have 6 kids ranged in ages from 6 1/2 months to nearly 18 & we love it. Had decided to stop after no 4 cause DH injured his back, so he had a vasectomy, then 4 years later it came undone & we were expecting no5 so we decided why not go for broke & have the 6 we talked about when we first got married.Sometimes the house resembles a mad house & bomb site

I will soon have 4, would love more but DH didn't want more than 2 (because of the cost). So for now I have resigned myself to being a mum to 4.

Large families are just great, tons of love, laughter and fun.

I put 5, but I'm not due till Feb. Does that count?
My oldest was 6 yesterday!!
I love a big family, but sadly this will be the last, due to health issues with me.

We have four, our twins are 4 weeks old now and i seemed to have already convinced dh that we need just one more!! :D i didn't even have to try very hard lol ;) just mentioned i wouldn't mind a fifth and if it was up to me then we would have one more  I think we will probably start ttc#5 when the twins are about 18 months old. My boys are 3.5 y.o, 2 y.o and 4 weeks old, they are all close in age but it has worked out wonderfully well for us!!
