View Full Version : Tiled Floor and Playpen
I am looking at getting a hexagonal playpen because we have an open area and a tiled floor. But now I have the problem of trying to find a mat to go underneath on the floor. All the mats I have seen so far only measure out to 1.8m square and the playpen is hexagonal and measures about 2m! Has anyone used a hexagonal playpen and been able to get a mat for it? Thanks.

Maybe try a rubber backed picnic blanket, I got mine out the other day and it seemed really big enough. We're going to get a hexagonal pen too. :D

If you go to any foam or rubber supply store they should be able to cut you a piece of high density foam or rubber mat to any size and shape you want. Most places have a wide selection including some that are easy clean. Another option is to buy those foam alphabet or number pieces which snap together - many stores like Kmart/Target or toy stores carry them.
