Anyone got some sure tips on when to TRY when your periouds are all over the place - for the last three months they seem to come a week earlier every month!!!:banghead: I used to be on time every month but now who knows whats going on!! The older ladies at work swear by sticking your legs up in the air afterwards but other than that 'sure fire winner!?!?!' does anyone have any tips for when to TRY....

Apart from monitoring your CM, I'd say OPKs would be one of the best ways to pinpoint O if you have no idea when its going to be.

Maybe try watching when your mucous changes to like an egg white colour. That says that you are ovulating. Also have you try to do your temperature to work out when you ovulate?

check out the site www.mycycle.com (http://www.mycycle.com) and you fill in the dates that you get ur period and it works out when you're likely to ovulate, and then around those two weeks bd like rabbits! especially on the days leading up to ovulation and the few days after!
Good luck!
Worked for us!

oh, by the way, if you were interested on what opks etc mean:
(OPK is an ovulation predictor kit)
(O is ovulation)
(Cm is cervical mucous)
(Bd is Baby dancing, or better known as bonking..)
GOOD LUCK JESSICA!!!

If your cycles are all over the place there is a chance you are not ovulating all the time. I would be taking my Basal Body Temps to check.

I agree with what's already been said. You could also try BDing every second day just to be sure!

Good luck

My cycles are anywhere from 30 days to 44 days. So it is really hard to know for sure. I downloaded a preconception calender. It is simple and easy to use. You just enter your last period date and it keeps track of your previous cycles for you , then it will average your cycle. (just type in Preggers Conception in search engine) This really helped me as I had know idea what my average cycle length was. I have had to use it for a few months before it had enough info about my cycle length to more acurately tell me my average. Once you know your average cycle length you can use the ovulation calendars online to help you know when to start testing with opk's(easy downloads for free, type in ovulation calanders). I had know idea when to test until I did this and now I can pinpoint O exactly. I watch for fertile mucus, when it is clear and stretchy like egg whites you are most fertile. You can buy opk(ovulation predictor kits) at a chemist or a department store, or even online. They will tell you 12 to 36 hours before you ovulate once you get a positive. But, like another post said it can be a sign you are not ovulating. www.fertilityfriend.com has lots of info on everything. Also, most women ovulate on day 14 of a 28 day cycle. Add a day for everyday your average cycle length passes 28 days. Sorry so long.:ecomcity:
