Hey everyone...
I'm not new to the site, but I am moving house and was just wondering if there are any mums up in the Yarra Ranges in Vic?
We are moving to Woori Yallock in 3 weeks (currently live in Bayswater). So if there are any mums living on the line from wandin to warburton, let me know!
Love Rhiannon :hugs:

Ok so noone...Out of the near 11,000 members here, not one person lives in the Yarra Ranges?...I find that very hard to believe! :gloomy:

Give it time Mikeyswifey!
My ma and pa live in Warranwood - not that far from the old Yarra
Beautiful place to live - what takes you to that part of the world??

OK, so I don't live there but I have friends who live up that way! It is a lovely part of the world and we plan sometime in the future to move up that way too. Probably Warbuton, Yarra Junction or further east. All the best with the move!

Well we have just sold our house in bayswater - we HATE it here.
I was brought up in heathmont/ringwood east and my DH was brought up in Wonga Park.
And we decided we wanted to go to somewhere out of the suburbs (but not too far out), thats smally populated and alot more peaceful and quiet.
We have brought a house on 1/4acre, instead of our 300sq mt block here with a courtyard for 2 kids and 2 dogs.
Alot of my family are in Warburton East and love it.
We cant wait to move.

Good luck Mw - I'm a tippin' you will love it!
Well, I don't live in Woori Yallock... but I did live in Bayswater North only a couple of years ago (before I moved in with DF). I *love* the outer eastern suburbs and will always consider it my home in Melbourne. Until a couple of months ago, I worked full time at Maroondah Hospital... but DF and I moved to an outer Northern suburb about six weeks ago (no where as nice as eastern suburbs), so I had to change jobs. I miss all my friends at Maroondah so much !! (I try and pick and pick up an occasional casual shift whenever I can).
Sorry, I've gone off-topic haven't I?? *LOL*
BTW, your new house sounds fantastic... can I come too??? :D

I used to live in Launching Place (my family had the pub) and then Woori Yallock...I was in my late teens/early 20's and I hated every minute of it!!!
Alls I can say is...watch out for the banjos!!!!
I'm kidding...it's lovely!;)

I once got in to a HUGE fight in that pub - MD I was a bit scared to tell you the details as the publican (most likely your pa) wasn't impressed with me in the slightest!
In fairness it involved an ugly case of famous footballer sexually harrassing my sister (very badly) and me not putting up with that!
Still I didn't get the chance to explain this to the publican so I can see why he wasn't impressed
Anyway - I'm all grown up now!
:p

Don't worry Jessie...it was all par for the course of owning a pub...I was even "asked to leave" on several occasions, and it was usually while I was working!!

4-5 years ago, I worked on 1 North (ortho/medical)...did you ever do a placement on that ward??

Yep I did (do a placement on that ward).
I am very familier with Warbuton and abouts.
My sister lives up warbuton way and i go up about 3 times a week!!
Thats very exciting to be moving.
And to such a different sounding place to where you are now.
I am sure your friends will love to come visit you up there....:yelclap:
