My DS has developed a cold with a strong cough 24hrs before we travel OS. Does anyone have any tips on how to make DS more comfy for flying? He doesn't have any other symptoms except for runny nose. We have paracetamol, nurofen and baby vicks, is there anything else?

We were also recommended phenergan by a doctor. Has anyone tried this on a child under 2? I don't know I'm that comfy with it but don't want DS to get sicker from lack of sleep.

Any helpful advice would be welcomed!

I've never tried Phenergen except when DD ad an allergic reaction to something they gave it to her at hospital and she went really hyper. If you are going to use it, I'd recommend trying it before you leave as it has that effect on some kids. Although TBH I don't think I'd be comfortable with giving it to a 1 yr old.

Are you breastfeeding? If you are I'd probably just feed as much as possible because theres not really much you can give babies. Or maybe see a homeopath before you go? When I was pregnant I had a really bad flu and the homeopath gave me something (it seemed more naturopathic though, maybe she was both), and it worked REALLY well.
