I am quite disappointed by CFC. I was meant to have my first IUI at their clinic. IUI is meant to be a painless procedure and should seem similar to a pap smear. There should be little or no discomfort. All my excitement and optimism was washed down the drain when after struggling with my insides for about 20 mins(which felt like hours) they were unable to insert the catheter and finally gave up. They never tried changing to a wired catheter or use ultrasound to help guide the catheter into the uterine cavity.
Infertility is stressful enough and this incident just added to my disappointments. Not to mention the lost time, the wasted blood tests and money.
Has anyone had a successful IUI at CFC?
