Hi there :)
I am about a week away from moving to Narangba. Looking to meet some other mums and make some new friends.......
I am mum to 5, only 3 still at home. Just turned 40...... OMG where have those years gone??? LOL
Hoping to be able to meet for coffee or shopping, whatever really, just dont want to get stuck in a rut and become bored and lonely once we get there.
Anyone have any info about the area, good or bad. Schools, hairdressers, anything really I'd love to hear it :)
Thanks!!
Tracie

Hi Laura, thanks for your reply :)
I would absolutely LOVE to meet for coffee etc. Im so worried about being bored and lonely once I get there. Im quite shy until I get to know someone, then you cant shut me up.
My kids are DD almost 21 (where did all those years go??) DD 18, DS 11, DD 10 and DS 8 months.
The baby was a HUGE surprise, definitely not planned or expected. But such a welcome surprise :) Definitely wouldnt give him back LOL.
How old are yours?
What is the area like? We havent even seen the house we are moving to in real life, only pictures LOL. Hope its ok?? I figure it looks a reasonably newish area so it can't be too bad, the house that is.

Narangba is awesome! The public school has such a great reputation that it has a catchment area, we're planning on moving there just so our son can go to that school (we're in caboolture). Pm me if you want the number of a hair dresser.. She works from home now that she is raising her kids and she only charges 12 dollars! Awesome she is!

Wow $12!!! So cheap!
I think my kids will be going to Jinibara State school. It looks to be about the closest one. Hopefully its a good school. :)
This time next week we will be just about there!! :smiliedance:
Narangba is great we have been here for about 7 years and we love it..
My kids are DS's 7,5 and DD 3 and my little man is 11 months.
Look forward to meeting once u get settled, good luck with the move:)
