It's not a name we have shared with anyone yet..

Arianna-Rose Nevaeh

Hubby has his heart set on this name but I'm still not 100% sold

I love Nevaeh, is it pronounced Neh-vay-ah?

Not so sure about Arianna, it always reminds me of areola (I have no idea why haha).

What about Nevaeh Rose?

honestly- i'm not a huge fan of hyphenated names, and i think that neveah (or however the hell it's spelt) drips with tack.
if you just used the arianna-rose surname then that wouldn't be bad. or even take out the hypen and rose can be the middle name.
anyway, that's just me.

Thank you for your opinion but was it really necessary to be so rude about it? Nevaeh Is Heaven backwards, because she is our little piece of heaven. And to quote skillet "I'd give all of the world to see that little piece if heaven looking back at me"

Hyphenated names are not every ones thing, but they are ours. Me, DH, and both the boys have hyphenated names.

So thank you for taking the time to reply

Don't take it to heart, I think Nevaeh is beautiful and I adore how it is "heaven" spelt backwards :)

I have it on our list as a middle name too ;) great minds think alike!

Arianna-rose is sweet, although I'd personally remove the hyphen and have 2 middle names.
May I ask how you pronounce Nevaeh? I like the meaning behind it :)

i wasn't trying to be rude. i'm sorry if it came across that way. i know that it's heaven backwards and that's actually why i think it's tacky. sorry. and i've never heard any skillet music lol the only reason i have even heard of them is a friend of mine is a huge fan of them.

I am in agreement with mpeg on the name Nevaeh.
I do however love the name Arianna-Rose. Hyphinated or not.

Sorry I'm overly sensitive today and text on the net has no tone. And some times we apply a tone of our own. Apologies.

It's pronounced Neh-vay-ah :)

Skillet are awesome I saw them live in Melb in Jan.

I do see how it can be seen as tacky, but I think verbally pronounce it out loud, it rolls really well. I know a name is forever, and a child has to live with torment if the name is difficult, we already have discovered this with DS's name. I do believe that it's not all that often even later in life you use or share your middle name, and even if bubba grows to dislike her name (hell I hate my entire name - I have a very common name) I hope she can admire the thought and love behind it.

In the end sweet heart, it's your choice. If you love it use it. What others think is none of their business :)
Good vibes to you!

Arianna-Rose is very pretty. Do you think that she'll get called Arianna-Rose or will the Rose be dropped and she'll be known as Arianna.

I met two little girls out with the grandmother the other day and their names were Molly-Rose and Chloe-Jade and they both got called by their full names. The grandmother told me that if anyone shortens their names the girls correct them. (Their Mum was pregnant with a third girl and she was going to be named either Ruby-Mae or Georgia-Mae).

First one pretty. Very pretty. I like hyphenated names as a rule.

But I HATE Nevaeh with a passion. Seriously hate it. 'Heaven' backwards ... it's just so ... I dunno. Have to agree with .mpeg

However, if it has special meaning for you that's all that matters.

Personally if I was going to put `heaven' in my child's name I'd use the word ... `heaven'. I think that's really quite pretty and unique.

Full name. DS has a speech problem and struggles to pronounce some letters, and even he corrects people. Kinder left off the other half of his first name and he insisted it wasn't his name.
