Penrith Mums?

I have just moved here from Qld and I dont know if this is right place to look for penrith mums, if it is not , just let me know and I will put it in another page.
I have a 7 month old bubba called elijah and he is majorly teething.
I am looking to get with some groups that meet up each week or something and get some know some ppl. I dont know anyone and it is kinda scarie,.....

Hi Elijah's mum i live in the Blue Mountains which isnt that far from Penrith. Where abouts in QLD are you from? I came from the FNQ in Atherton. I know what you mean about its scary moving from one state to another. Natalie and i are trying to start up a mothers group around the penrith area. If you interested you can come and join in with us. It would be great to have more people in the mothers group.

thanks what are you planning on doin for the mother's group? i dont drive so would it be easy for me to get to by transport?

Were not sure yet. I dont drive either so everything that we'll do i have to be able to get there by transport too. We'll probably only do things down at Penrith area cause it seems that im the only one from the Blue Mountains. Im glad to hear that you would like to join our "mothers club"!! :D

That's great and i know how you feel. Im pretty isolated up here cause we live about 40 min by foot away from town. Theres also not many people with babies around here because its a retirement area! :( So im looking forward to meeting all you girls too.

We probably cant get it started till late November, because i have my wedding/honeymoon this weekend, Naomi's got hers on the 26th Novemeber, Elle has exams in the middle of November and Tram just had her new baby girl on the 22nd!

congrats on th wedding hope all go's well,, where is ur honeymoon goin to be? i have my good and bad days,,, im single mum and it does get very lonely, my partents and sister are a great help but its not the same,, i have so many mixed emotions about being a mum

Yeah it must be tough, i find it hard enough and i have a partner!
I know what you mean about the mixed emotions, i suffer from PND, so i've had plenty of those! lol..but i'm getting better slowly!

i have had depression pretty much all my life, but really bad over the last 5yrs or so, i take lovan for it does help a bit, tyler was not planned but i would never change having her, she is the best thing in my life, i do feel she well be good for me as in getting happer, i think getting out the house more and maybe meeting other mums will also help, my mates are great and most have kids but most of the work
