Hi guys,

need help with lunches for my DS. He was happily going along eating either pear, apple or banana for lunch but has suddenly decided only banana is good enough for him, which i have decided isn't good enough every day! He'll eat the other fruits with cereal in the morning but not by themselves. And before you say it, I've also tried yoghurt - not impressed! He loves to munch on bread, but he's very much a finger food novice, so i need things I can feed him. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Oh, and he's 7 months and doesn't mind the odd lump! Thanks in advance :)

Have you tried processing up some 2 fruits? I process mine so they are still chunky. My DD loves it!
Its funny you say that about the yoghurt, I had the same problem with my DD! She hated it and constantly gagged on it. I left it for a few weeks and tried again and she loves it!!!! (I changed the brand though).

HI jembelina,i'm no help,I'm wondering the same thing!
Just a question regarding bread, how do you give it to your bub-a whole piece to suck on,or do you squish it into little bits? Do you put anything on it,like a scrape of vegemite or something? I'd like my DD to try it,but not sure of the best way. Thanks :)

In regards to the bread - If you can imagine toast finger (like for dipping in a boiled egg), about half that size. I havn't put anything on it yet and don't think i will as he's really enjoying it plain. I'm giving him a good grain bread (helgas classic seed, which is darker than other grain breads) which has flavour in itself. He'll mostly just suck it but will chew up little bits too.
