Hi everyone, I might be grasping at straws, but I'm just looking for some advice from anyone in adelaide who suffered with hyperemesis. I suffered from hyperemesis for the whole of my last pregnancy and before I consider another pregnancy I would like to find an obstetrician who has experience in dealing with hyperemesis. My last ob was reasonably helpful, but looking back I feel she could have given me a lot more support and treatment to ease the suffering and prevent its severity.
Has anyone else gone to an ob before TTC to prepare for another possible Hg pregnancy?

Pinkabelle, while I can't actually help you with your question. I wanted to give you some hope :) With DD and DS1 I too had HG. But with DS2 I had, wait for it...
Normal morning sickness :D
I did get nauseated the whole way through, but, I only thew up a handful of times and only in the first trimester. Anyway, just wanted to share that maybe it wont happen next time, however I do hope you find a supportive OB, just in case.

Thanks MummyMaygan! Its always so nice to hear of someone having a slightly easier pregnancy after HG, it does give me some hope! I am hoping for a better pregnancy next time, but I want to be prepared if i get HG again. My ob said she thinks next time I would'nt be so sick, but I dont think there is really any way of knowing!!

I was actually sicker with no 2. That is why it was such a lovely suprise to not get sick with no 3.
I actually found acupuncture helped some.
