Hello Everyone!
I'm a student midwife in my second year at ACU. I'm loving the course and one of the most rewarding aspects for me is the Follow Through Journey program. This involves me spending time with pregnant women throughout the months leading up to your birth and first few weeks of mothering. Each journey is different, as each pregancy is different, and can be whatever you would like it to be. I can be as involved (or not) as you wish. But the general idea is that I can come along to antenatal appointments with you, have an occasional cafe catch-up or home visit, and provide extra birth support if you would like. The journey has the potential to be very rewarding for us both, particularly if you are looking for someone to talk to and share this time of your life with.
In any case, I hope all the expectant mothers that read this are having a very positive experience of pregnancy. If you are interested in this program or would like some more info on anything related to being a student midwife,
