Hi, I live in Wynn Vale and have a new baby boy 2 weeks old. I moved to Adelaide 14 months ago due to my husband's work and unfortunately don't have any friends or family here. I also have 2 other children aged 12 and 10.

HI There,
I am moving to Semaphore from Brisbane in about 7 weeks. My baby is due next week 3 March and I am staying with my family until my 6 week post check whilst my Husband commutes back and forth unitl late March when he moves permanently. Does anyone know of a parenting group or mothers group that I can join in the area so that I can meet some new friends and hopefully establish a support network. This is my first Baby. Thanks Heather

Hello All :)
I've just registered as a new user on this site and I just wanted to say a little bit about myself and my previous pregnancies.
I'm a mature mum (hence my name) :p and I'm currently going through my 5th pregnancy at age 42. I have a 19 year old daughter and I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant. In 1983 I suffered my first miscarriage following a rape by my then boyfriend. In 1986 I gave birth to my 1 and only child. In 2002 I suffered a molar pregnancy. In 2004 I suffered another miscarriage and in February 2005 I feel pregnant again. Hopefully this pregnancy will go the distance and I will give birth in late October.
I look forward to talking to all you mum's throughout the year and I hope all goes well with everything.:)

Hi angussmum,
My name is Belinda, I too live in northern suburbs, paralowie to be exact! I have a little bub called Jack who is 5 months old. I am a stay at home mum, (on maternity leave but not sure if going back!) How is your little bub going? And how are you feeling after birth etc? Jack and I get out and about a bit, going shopping, coffee, we have been to mums and bubs movie sessions at salisbury cinema and I try to get out for a walk fairly often to try and move some of this baby weight! Doesn't seem to be working yet! There are not that many places to walk around here - I mainly just walk around the neighbourhood, but it would be good to have some nice parks etc to walk in. Tea Tree Gully is a nice area, hey, you probably find lots of good places to walk! Where are you from as I noticed you said not from adelaide?
Take care,
Cheers,
Belinda :D

Hi girls, i'm also in the northern suburbs in Salisbury North, am 15 weeks pregnant with my first child and am planning to start maternity leave early (in 6 weeks due to a past history of miscarriages). And i'm so nervous about how i'm going to cope being home alone ... lol. I'd love the opportunity to get to know other mums in the area, to catch up for walks, coffee and just share stories and experiences. I'd be happy to hear from anyone interested, perhaps we could exchange email addresses. It would be great to get to know other mums in the northern suburbs.
