Congratulations on your pregnancy ladies!!!
I am a final year Nursing and Midwifery Student studying at the University of Queensland and the Mater Hospital, and I need you! I am looking for some mothers who want some extra support and continuity of care throughout their pregnancy. A requirement of my degree is to “follow” 10 mothers through their antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods. I attend 5 antenatal scans, birthing classes, midwifery or doctor’s appointments, the birth of your baby and 2 postnatal appointments. This is a great opportunity to have some added support and on hand knowledge in your pregnancy. You will also be helping me in my final year to gain added experience, so that I can improve Australia’s midwifery services for the future.
