Hi ladies!! I'm so excited to be making this post!!
My name is Angela, and I am a student midwife at Curtin University. As part of our three year course we are required to have 40(!) continuity of care experiences. A "continuity of care" experience entails supporting a woman throughout her pregnancy, labour & birth (if she wishes), and postnatal journey.
I would be honoured if any of you beautiful pregnant women, from anywhere in Perth, would be so kind to share your journey with me!! In doing so, you will receive one-on-one personal attention, someone to share your experiences with, and the possibility of gaining another familiar support person to attend to you at your birth (this is totally optional!).
A bit about me: I am a mother of two children, DD 4 years and DS 15 months. DD was induced and born at SJOG, and my son was a "planned" homebirth, but ended up being born in the car on the way to the hospital!! If you want to hear that story you'll have to PM me!!
I have had a range of experiences with my children's pregnancies and births, including induction, ECV's, preterm labour and other things, so I have lots of stories to share with you (all good and reassuring of course)!! I also have a couple of years (and counting!) of breastfeeding experience, and would be most happy to chat with you about that too!!
Feel free to PM me for more information, or if you'd like to catch up and meet me... I'm looking forward to hearing from you!!
