Brauer Teething Relief

Has anyone used it? I have a bottle here and the instructions say to give a dose every half hour for the first 4 doses then every 4 hrs if needed. My question is what do I do if I give bub the first 4 in the morning, then he gets a dose later in the day if needed or before bed - the next day do I need to start again and give the four doses every half hour? Its hard enough getting a dose of panadol down his throat sometimes!

I swear by the stuff with my boy who got his first tooth at 5 months. I too was a bit baffled by the instructions but I was like 'I'll give you a dose - if you are still fussy, I know I have another three up my sleeve!' and I've never needed to give him more than one dose in four hours. I have treated it the same at nurofen and panadol which has helped me keep track of where I'm up too with them all.

For my suggestion, try a dose, see how he goes, if you feel he needs it, give him another dose.

I have found that the first dose usually settles DS.
On occasion, I've used the second dose but never needed to give another two!

If he is fussy again, I just give it four hours after the last dose. It's all natural stuff so it would be really hard to overdose him anyway I think.

I find it works wonders and we have used it for all of his teeth, most of the time we haven't needed to use panadol either.

I'm a big fan of Brauers. They have a Colic Relief and a Calm one too which I've used at various times.

Thanks for the replies. I am finding the same, that he isn't needing the follow up doses often. I am using the Calm one this time around and it seems to be just as good. He actually ended up having an ear infection so what I thought was just teething actually wasn't his only problem.
