Mum in Brisbane

HELP, I moved to brisbane about 5 weeks ago, I am looking for an excellent doctor for my family, they have to be great with babies.
My old doctor was just unreal with my son, he really made us all feel great. Anyway if any one can help, I would love to hear from you. We are on the Northside of Brisbane.

If you're anywhere near the Strathpine area I can recommend the doctor's at the Bray Park Medical Pracitce. I started going there when I was about 5 and I only left just over a year ago because my hubby didn't think driving 3 hours to go to the doctor was worthwhile...
I say that cause I still went to them when I lived at Loganholme on the Southside of Brisbane!

I'm in Algester, on the southside. There are loads of Bubhubbers in Brisbane, so I'm sure someone can help you out with a doctor. I've got a great one at Sunnybank, but that's probably a bit far for you.

Indeed it is - that is because we all have our computers set up in the 'sun' room with a nice barbie going in the background - nice slow cooked meals giving us plenty of time to be on the 'puter

i go to warner family medical practice next to maccas... but i take ds to medical zone at deception bay... the doctor is really good with him.. and he doesnt scream like he does with other doctors.. so i guess he just has the touch..

We had a GREAT doctorwho used to work in our local area but has moved to the North side of town, he is in Rainworth (near Bardon, Paddington) and I am not sure if this is near you or not but he is the best! He recently diagnosed my DH with bacterial unilateral pneumonia after 3 different doctors missed it, including Logan hospital :mad: He is kind and caring and has a lovely manner, although you should know he does not bulk bill if this is an issue (I have found many of the good doctors don't). His name is Greg Thompson and he is listed as Rainworth Medical Practice if you were to look it up.

There is an excellent Doctor in Albany Creek in Prasaad's Medical centre, his name is Dr Chris (can't remember the surname) and he was a Paedeatrician (did I spell that right) before he joined the practice as a GP.

He was wonderful with my two boys and he bulk bills for children under 16...if you are close by he is definately worth trying :thumbsup:
