Hi All

I'm trying to find a remedy for DD's furniture biting. She is 10 months old and teething like you wouldnt believe. I have been encouraging her to bite toys instead of furniture but she is forever trying to get back to it. I was thinking of putting vinegar or something on it to stop her but am not sure. Please help.

DD2 chews on EVERYTHING! I honestly don't remember DD1 biting so much, but dd2 chews on whatever she can get her mouth on.
Furniture, bath, dishwasher door when open, our outside concrete steps:eek:. There are certain things I don't like her biting (ie concrete), but otherwise, so long as she's not damaging anything I'm not too worried.

As for a deterent, what about that nail biting polish? Haven't tried it, the thought just came into my head:D .

It's so hard with teething. I don't use bonjela, hence letting her chew on most things, but it must be terrible for them. DD2 has just had her 6th and 7th teeth come through after I thought they were coming 3 mths ago!

When my DD is teething and chewing on furniture and toys I give her an apple to chomp on. She grates it up with her front teeth and it seem to help her.
