Hi,

I am a Postgraduate Midwifery student at Australian Catholic University and am currently looking for women who may be interested in participating in a Community Follow Through Journey Program.

A little bit about me:
My name is Emily, I am 24 years old and being a Postgrad Student it means I have already done some previous study in general nursing and have spent that last 12 months working in an acute hospital.
I became interested in Midwifery while doing my nursing studies because I was able to work in Maternity and Birthing Suites at Geelong as a division 2 nurse and absolutely feel in love with the types of work and care to be given.

The aim of the Follow Through Program is designed not only to provide educational experience for the student but also allows the woman and her family to have a 'one-to-one' supportive relationship during her pregnancy and birth.
The program is to find pregnant women who would like to share their experience with me by attending antenatal appointments and with permission accompany you during the birth. By being a postgraduate student I have some employment associated with the course at a hospital, so going to every appointment may not be possible, but continual communication is also accepted as part of the program.

I live in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Let me know if you're interested or have any questions either by replying to this post or my email is embo18@hotmail.com

Thanks
 Emily :cheerleader1:
