Herbalists - any success stories?

Hi all:wave: Well I get my 21 day bt results this week and dh gets his err results - :laughing: So then we will be sending all our details through to Sue at www.fertilemindandbody.com.au to see if her herbal remedies can help us get our BFP. Has anyone had any success stories with herbalists? I am really looking forward to giving it a try :)

Hi Livy, I used chinese herbs for 3 months and got my BFP after 10 months of ttc. I drank a tea that the herbalist made up as well as some mentrual regulator pills, I had to take about 50 of them a day. It was kinda expensive but so worth it :yes: Good luck! :fingerscrossed:

I have really long and irregular cycles, I went to a herbalist 3 weeks ago today as I was about 8 weeks in to my cycle and hadn't even ovulated. She gave me a tea to drink morning and night and I ended up ovulating within 5 days - then got a BFP on thursday.

I can't say that it really was the herbs working that fast, but the effect they had on my state of mind - made me feel like I was at least doing something rather than waiting was soo worth it!

I went to see a herbalist when ttc DS. They were very expensive but got my bfp that month. This time around I tried them for 3 months and got bfn's each month. I think it also depends on how stressed you are, what you are eating and obviously timeing of bding.

I got my BFP just six weeks after seeing my chinese herbalist. I only had to see her the once and it cost my $55 plus $10 for each bottle of herbs. Not very expensive at all. Although just remember guys that it's important to find a good chinese herbalist who specialists in fertility and who has come recommended, and also that herbalists and chinese herbalists are not necessarily the same. We followed the herb / vitamin / tonic plan of a fertility specialist naturopath when ttc with #1 and after two failed IUI attempts, I fell pg naturally! :smiliedance:
It was after a year on the stuff, but I had a really healthy pregnancy and birth and both my babies were/are very healthy as a result.
The fact that both of you are going to take the herb's is a big plus - as our naturopath explained to us - it help's get the egg and the sperm at peak health for conception :thumbsup:

Shorty - Fertile Mind and Body is on the Gold Coast - I am on the Sunny Coast - but am using her online/mail consultation service. Apparently that is what most of her clients do. I just heard she was pretty good and didn't have any local recommendations.
