Any interest in a handmade nappy/ clothes/toys swap please post below please read all the information below before replying

Entry to the swap closes on the 20th Feb, 2011.
Please post below your interest and answer the list of questions below to help your swapper as well as p'ming me with your username name and address details
After this on the 21st and 22nd of Feb I will go through all the participants and match everyone up as close as possible to what each person is looking for - you will then receive a PM with your recipients name and address details.
This is a secret swap of nappies/woolies/clothing/toy(s) made by us. If you are a WAHM you are most welcome to enter we just can't promote/discuss brand names. Also, if you receive from a WAHM, we ask that in the photo for the gallery any name labels are blurred or hidden, to keep in line with BH rules :)

This swap is for nappies, woolies, clothing, toys, mama pads to keep it all fair we all know the cost of a nappy so keep it around the same value as that.

1 nappy = 2 covers or 1 - 2 items of clothing (depending on the difficulty/time spent/fabric etc, mostly a judgment call, and I think you can work it out, if you're unsure, PM me!) or 2 toys

I will PM everyone there recipient's address details on the 23rd of February at the latest.
All swaps are to be posted via Registered or Express post ONLY (so we can track them) and be posted by the 23rd March.
This gives us a month to sew/knit/crochet from when everyone receives their partners names!


Also, I'm undecided... secret swap or known swap? So everyone is matched with someone and you make for each other?
If making for each other then you can agree to swapping more, get to know your partner more, maybe make something absolutely perfect? Or go the secret and mysterious route? Shall make it the last q of the questionnaire, can you guys post it here so your swapee can read it too please :D

I can make: Nappies (Prefer side snappers, but my fave to make are newbie front snaps :goodvibes:), felt food, some basic clothing, stuffies, I can knit soakers/shorties/longies... I'm a wee bit crafty :freakingout:


I'd like to receive: Umm... maybe a nappy for Bella? In lilac and white to go under her lavender pettiskirt for my wedding at the end of April? Or anything else really, I love swaps :D


I'd rather not receive: Nothing really? Phoenix doesn't wear nappies anymore though, which I love (mostly, do you know how many cute boy nappies there are!?).


Our favourite colours/styles etc: I love green and blue on Phoenix especially, and any pants need to be pretty easy to get off - still somewhat TTing :D
For Bella, we love lilac and white, creams, pale pinks - really girly, but I love retro stuff too. Basically, so long as nothing is orange or bright pink, it goes on Bella :laughing:

Things we're not so keen on: Orange, bright/hot pink/ fluro colours, licenced characters (unless you're really sucking up to Phoenix with Toy Story :rolleyes:), anything too complex lol

Oh, and anything else:
Bella's a pretty average wetter, she loves tearing velcro now :rolleyes: and doesn't like elasticated cuffs on sleeves at the moment :confused:

I'd like to receive: anything really (surprise me.) We use longies/shorties but not as a nappy cover (we use Pocket and AIO's mostly) but because they look so cute

I'd rather not receive: Fitted nappies. We mainly used pockets or AIO's/AI2's

(blues, red, orange, green and yellow)

Eeep, sorry - as with most of my friends, I couldn't get on here yesterday :/

My kidlets are over the moon with their pressies, I'll post photos tonight (providing BH co-operates that is!), Bella tried to put ALL of her hair clips in her hair at once (kind of hard when you don't have the strength to open them yourself :laughing: :rolleyes:) and Phoenix took one pencil out, drew with it and put it back in :eek: I think you've just hit the jackpot with him!! :hyper:

I think mine is going to be late though :no: How sucky is that, swap organiser to be late :( I'm so, so sorry. We had a budget crisis and couldn't order a particular, necessary fabric till last Friday and now its still not here :confused: As soon as it gets here, it should take under an hour to do (I have it pretty down pat now!) but its just not here :( :freakingout:

Cute!!! I haven't been able to get BH to load properly in days :( Not happy! Apparently our card reader broke and I told DF that I didn't care because I didn't use it. Sounds about right too :( Off to get a new one tomorrow so I can upload these photos, we really do love what we got!! And C&E's Mum, you should have yours in your hot little hands by now? If not today, then Monday for sure. I'm so sorry it was so late, I can't believe the number of issues I've had :( And BB08, I will SO swap with you on FB if you want ;) I know how gorgeous your stuff is!! :cheerleader1:

Thank you so much, Phoenix's pencil roll lives in the nappy bag now, as an emergency "stop everything, draw, you'll be ok" sort of thing, and Bella's pink + green hair clip is GORGEOUS!
