I have just found out this week that we have another baby on the way due in October. My DS will have just had his 2nd birthday when the new bub arrives. I've started wondering about the situation with the baby monitor. I feel like I would still like to have one for DS's room so I can hear him and if he is crying and generally for my peace of mind, but I'm wondering if it is too confusing or noisy or full-on to have 2 separate monitors on the go at the same time?
Also could the monitors cause interference to each other?

I would probably keep the baby in our room until he/she is around 12 weeks and then move them to their own room which is what I did with DS.
Any thoughts people? Has anyone had more than 1 monitor on the go at one time?

We will be using 2 monitors as our bedroom is at the opposite end of the house and we cant hear them. One of my 20 month old boys still wakes up regularly and since they are still in the cot they cant get out of bed and come to us so I need to be able to hear him when he wakes up. I havent set up the 2nd monitor yet for the new baby, but its the same monitor as the one we currently use but they dont interfere with each other.

I have had 2 monitors set up when my sister stayed at my place with her bub. We both have the same brand monitor and it had tdo channels(a and b) so we each used a different channel and it was fine

We use only one for our two boys. I have just put the receiver in between both their bedroom doors and we hear them without a problem.

I was wondering about this the other day too, what about digital monitors?
