Hi!!! Welcome!!!
I'm Fiona & I am 15 weeks PG (today!) with my second. Claire is my first-born & she will be 1 in October.
I am in the Caloundra area, but happy to travel wherever.
I have been desperate to do some PG yoga or pilates, but have yet to get off my backside & do anything more than send a few emails around enquiring about classes. One place did say to me that if you haven't done it before, it's best to wait til hte 2nd trimester, so I think I used that as a bit of an excuse!
I work full time during the week, but I'd love to do something if it were on a weekend! My DH works every weekend, so I'm always up for something then!
Have you seen the latest Kids on the Coast mag? (The free one. You can pick it up at shopping centres, dr's offices etc.) It had a yoga or pilates thing advertised for up your way somewhere. I've thrown it out, but I plan on getting another copy, as I have PG brain & forgot there was something in there I wanted to keep it for!!
I'm sure I'll catch you around!
 hi
a coupla my mums group mum friends did yoga at coolum while they were pregnant, and said it was a good class, i could find out where it is(could be the same as in kids on the coast mag.

hi mums and mums to be. It great that we have some interest. I think i saw the yoga in a mag i picked up at buderim maternity shop and it was in nambour-ill look up the details.
Mrs miggins,- i work shifts so the chances of me having some weekends off and evening during the week is good. I will try to find out the exact info and we will try to organise something.
meme-any info you have would be great!
take care evryone and i look forward to meeting some of you xxxxxxx:shame:

That sounds good!!
I also got that info off bubhub back in July. I emailed a couple of those places and got some prices & other info.
Yoga In Daily Life @ Maroochydore has pre-natal yoga classes on Tuesdays from 4.30-6.30 pm they have packages of 8, 12, 24 or 36 classes with prices per class ranging from $8.30 - $12 (depending on how many classes you buy).
There was also Blooming Bellies Physio (which you mentioned) and I'm pretty sure I got prices from them as well, but I'd have to check my emails on my home computer - I don't have them written down on the same bit of paper I had the other ones!
Also I noticed in Additude (you know that free paper you get in the junk mail every week with all the coupons in it?) this morning that Total Physio in Warana have a voucher in there for if you buy one class you get one free. They have Pilates. I can't remember how much it is, but I know someone who goes there & she did tell me. I remember thinking " OUCH!" though - it was very expensive! If you have private health cover you can get rebates.
Anyway, I'll definitely be interested if we can arrange times etc!
Oh! I was also going to mention that in my Drs office the other day I noticed a flyer for water aerobics. It was at Kawana (I think!! PG brain strikes again!!) It was early mornings though (6.30 am) and classes were $8 each.

hi again, your info was good. I like the sound of the maroochydore one as its affordable and in the middle of us both. I dont have private cover and although the water aerobics sounds good, ill never be up at 6am!
we could try the yoga in daily life next tues if you are able to and see what we think? ILL have to pay one at a time as my shifts change and i may not make it every week(problem of my life committing to acivities)
if you have the info on blooming bellies that would be good, if not ill make a call. look forward to hearing from you.
