Question for parents with children with Cerebral Palsy??

My daughter has Hemiplegia which is a form of Cerebral Palsy. She had 2 convulsions last week ad we spent 4 days in hospital. Epilepsy was mentioned quite a few times. She has to have an EEG soon to find out what was going on. I have heard that children with cerebral palsy have a higher percentage of getting epilepsy. I was just wondering whether anyone has a child with CP and epilepsy?Just want to know how common it actually is to have both? When they started having seisures? Just any experiences would be great.

The answers are approx 50% of kids with CP have seizures and they say if your child hasn't had a seizure by the age of 5 then you are in the clear.
