Non- Vax reasons

Hi,

I was wondering if the non-vax's out there could let me know why they decided not to vaccinate. I hadn't heard of not vaccinating before and for some reason I thought it was compulsory! Would love to hear everyone's views.

A quick summary:

* the fact that the diseases began to decline before vaccinations were introduced, thanks to improved infrastructure, better nutrition, and clean water.

* the possible side-effects and reactions of vaccinations are scary - and my fear is not outweighed by the fear of the side-effects of the diseases being vaccinated against.

* the ingredients in the vaccines worry me.

I thought I might mention that my DD has been vaccinated (2 and 4 months) - I am just curious as to why some people don't vaccinate. I completely respect everyone's opinions and decisions.. I just wanted to hear some other views.

firstly for me it didn't feel right to vaccinate so i looked into the issue and based on what i read and found from both sides of the camp, i decided not to immunize. i went with my gut feeling and thats all you can do as a parent.
Reasons?
i'm not happy with the coctail of ingredients and the combining of these vaccinations, im not happy with the lack of long term research into the effects that they can have. i also believe that during a time when babies' immune systems are developing and not mention their brains (growing and making new neural connections), they should not be filled with dangerous chemicals which are found in the vaxx.
its a very serious and personal decision and i think all parents can do is to go with what they feel right. which ever way that may be.

I don't believe my baby is at risk of contracting what he would be getting vaccinated against at the moment.

That's not to say we will never vax him. Just not at the moment and probably never for everything according to the schedule. He might be going to daycare in 2 years time and I will review our decision then.

I don't think vaccinating is wrong. I just believe every child is different, therefore their risk is different and I am confident that we are doing the right thing for our particular child in our particular environment at this point in time.

Ditto to all of the above, the chemicals and metals in these vaccines are bloody dangerous and its very scary to think they are being injected into my 8wk old bub. It concerns me that I have to research for myself what is in them and that it is not presented to me by my doctor as I feel I should be provided with this type of important information.

On this topic, most mainstream vaccine info says mercury has not been in Australian vaccines since 2000. I have discovered otherwise. Try looking for thimerosol instead. It can still be found is some oz vaccines.

35mcg of mercury can kill a rabbit and vaccines contain 25mcg, each vaccine that is.

They pressure you to inject your child with over 60 doses of poisons and dont even tell you what those poisons are. I mean i bet if you went to your doctor and said for dinner tonight im going to give my child formaldehyde,phenol,antifreeze,animal tissue,aborted human foetus cells,puss and mercury he would fall off his chair and say are you kidding you'll kill em. Well that is what is in these injections and half of the doctors out there dont know it and the other half do know it and dont inject there own kids yet push us all to do it.
Ask yourself this if you do decide to vaccinate will your doctor guarantee that you can avoid permanent damage,disabillity or death from the vaccine.
I chose not to vaccinate because i feel my child can fight a childhood disease and build her own immune system rather than have that disease directly injected into her.

Its very interesting you say this as when I told my doc I was concerned about heavy metals etc she had to look up the ingredients herself to see what was in them , she had NO IDEA.

LOL, its an absolute joke. No, its very serious, these are our childrens lives, its their beautiful pure little bodies we are messing with.

We are not vaccinating. I agree with most of the arguements out forward so far and I have looked at the reports following an outbreak of common viruses such as measels. In an outbreak vaccinated and non-vaccinated patients area affected. It can start with either a vaccinated or non-vaccinated subject and the affects of the virus are no worse on non-vaccinated patients. This is one reason why we have decied not to vaccinate. We feel the risks of SIDS is a big enough risk to justify not vaccinating. I cannot find any research where a non-vaccinated child who contracted a virus or disease was affected more than a vaccinated one. I also cannot find any research that says that a vaccination is 100% guarentee that a child will not contract the disease or virus. We will discuss this with a doctor to ensure all my research is correct. However, unless there are hidden pro-vaccination reports (which I doubt) I cant see that we will change our minds.
