It's not a game but this is what we done at my baby shower for #3 ( I didn't have one with the boys).

My sis and me just got a whole heap of craft things and heaps of square felt bits and everyone that came got a square and decorated it how they wanted. Then a few days latter DH done one and we made it into a wall hang for her bedroom. She loves it and we all had fun making it. If you want me to email you a picture I can.

Good luck and have fun.

Dummy Spit....hand out cheap dummies, and whoever spits it the furthest wins a prize

Belly measurement....everyone cuts a piece of string to the size they think your belly is...you then put it around your waist to see who's the closest....you'll find most people overestimate by a mile lol

Baby word scramble....have a list of preg and baby related words all jumbled up and guests have to work out what the word is..

Taste test.....buy a few jars of baby food and blindfolded guests have to guess just what the hell they are eating...can be quite funny watching the faces they pull!

Hope this helps!

Hi there

We had some really fun games at my shower, just a shame all the people who came were such old fuddy duddies and didn't join in!

* Nappy game - get 4 chocolate bars of different consistencies and melt them in the microwave eg Picnic, Snickers, Kit Kat and Polly Waffle, then mush it up and smear it all over the inside of four newborn nappies and get your guests to guess what's inside the nappies. The brave ones might even have a taste. This is so funny as the nappies look like they are real dirty nappies.

* Name game - using your name and your partner's name get your guests to see how many different baby names they can come up with. prizes for total number of names and the longest name

* baby in a bottle - fill two different sized containers with jelly babies (using different brands works well) and whoever guesses right wins the bottle of babies - this is good for mums who already have kids

These games worked well for us - I hope you like them

i had one at my baby shower where they froze tiny plastic baby dolls in ice cube trays, and you had to "give birth" (suck the ice off of the baby and then spit the doll out the fastest) sounds weird but it was the one that got people laughing the most

Oh and the memory game where you put 15 or so items under a tea towel and then everyone gets to look for 15 seconds and the person to remember the most items wins

Blow up a balloon - then get the mumtobe to put a cloth nappy on it with a good old fashioned baby safety pin. Hope she doesn't pop it cause nexttime it could be her baby's butt!!!

I probably haven't really explained it much so it probably sounds stupid!

I gave it a try.

Unreal hope you have a great Shower,

We had the memory game and the toilet paper game. We also had a clothes line game.

Have a basket of washing and pegs and a small clothesline and someone has to volounteer to hang the washing. Trick being they have a baby under one arm (a toy) and was talking on the phone (to the MIL who doesn't know what "Im busy" means) and you can't drop either. The person then has 1 min to hang as many clothes as possible.

It is a great game that really sets the mums from the rest apart.

Have fun
Mel
