Hi everyone! :wave:
I just received a lovely PM from BH member SammiAnn and I wanted to share it with you all.
It is a perfect example of how Bub Hub members can band together to make a difference in someone else's life. :yes:
SammiAnn wanted to publicly thank the "amazing group of girls" from the July '09 birth group as well as the "gorgeous KatiesMum" for their generousity!
Anyway, here is SammiAnn's letter:
I'm not sure if this falls into the BH Army call out but definitely a huge thanks is needed.
Our country town was affected by the recent floods twice in two weeks and the second time a dear friend of mine had water through their house that destroyed the majority of their two young girls toys and clothes, not to mention their furniture and appliances.
I am blessed to have an amazing group of girls that bonded through our 'Due in July '09' threads. They immediately came to my family with offers of assistance but we while we were stranded at the farm we rent we were not affected by the water itself. They then went on to offer their help to this friend of mine and her family.
They sent gifts of clothes, toys, toiletries, gorgeous handmade gifts, money and their lovely children even sent a few of their own treasured toys to this family. My friend was astounded by the out pouring of love and support from these wonderful families from around Austraila. And we have BubHub to thanks for that!
Whilst I know these ladies are well aware how much their kindness was appreciated I would love to thank them publicly on BH for their amazing friendship that they have offered this family.
Again, not sure if this fits in your new area but just love these ladies so very much.
