Yup! *puts hand up*

I had a baby boy on May 27th at 0529 in a tub of water at home. It was awesome.
William was 16 weeks yesterday.

How are you guys going with it all? Breastfeeding going ok? I had a bit of a rough start with it, but it's going like clockwork now. Got the Feed Play Sleep thing happening well, too. This is my first.

Hey guys,
Not sure if I'm too late - seems to have been a bit quiet around here lately!
I had our gorgeous baby boy on the 12th May at 10.09pm at John Flynn on the Gold Coast. He was 7pd 9 1/2oz.
He's doing really well, we also struggled with breastfeeding till about six / eight weeks, however, everything is running smoothly now.
I've started Izak on rice cereal once a day (usually in the afternoon) and a small amount of water then too. This has been happening for a week or so now - tried starting at about four months, but he wasn't really all that interested.
We just went for our weigh in last Friday, and are now 67cm and 7550 grams. How does everyone else compare in size?
Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi May Mums

I had my little bubba on 05/05/2005 at 1.30pm....so he is 5 months this week.

Now, where to start...the last five months seem like a blur!!

We had trouble breastfeeding...at the 3 week mark I almost gave up...but instead decided to "co-feed"....I didn't even know such a thing existed or that there was a term for it! Anyway.....just for piece of mind and so I didn't throw in breastfeeding all together I gave Ben 1 formula feed a day....just for a bit of a rest for me..... that worked until about the 4 month mark where we just couldn't persevere any longer......I was a bit dissappointed but at the end of the day we just weren't bonding as breastfeeding was taking so much of my energy and emotions!!

Ben was a little bubba...2.87 kg's....know he must be over 7kg's....havn't had him weighed for a while.

We started on rice cereal about 3 weeks ago...he has 2 a day. Today I did a big cook up for the first time (pumpkin, sweet potato, apple & pear) and we are going to start with the pumpkin tomorrow.

He has just started to roll over this week....from tummy to back and then back to tummy....I think sitting will be soon.

Very grumpy at the moment....I think his teeth are being nasty. He also has a little bit of Eczema which the hot weather is not being kind to.

Anyway, that's us...it's nice to meet you May mummies....can't wait to chat further!

Cheers

I have to say I am so glad that I'm not the only one that feels my wee guy needs a bit more than the breast milk now! So many people have been very critical of me starting Zak on rice cereal.
Good to hear your babies are thriving. 'Cos of the heat, Zak has been hanging out in his singlet and nappy most days. (southern end of the gold coast) It's not often he stays under his blankets now either!
It's neat when they start rolling. Izak has been rolling from tummy to back for almost a month now. He just can't quite figure out how to roll to his tummy, but he's working on it.
Better carry on. Washing to do, and dishes to clean up .... it's never ending isn't it!
Take care May Mummies!

Gidday,
How would the may mummy's who live in Brisbane or near Brisbane
like to meet up for a cuppa and a chat?
Let me know what you think.
Peter is not happy with this heat i feel so sorry for him
he is just in a nappy most of the day as he has got heat rash
bad....
So lots of cool baths and cuddles from me and daddy
hope you and bub's are all well
Take care

Hey everyone,

I've got a little bundle of joy born on the 4th May as well. Lachlan came 3 weeks early and weighed 7lb 10z. I had a natural birth with no drugs (I didn't plan it that way, I was yelling for the drugs) as there was no time because Lachlan was distressed and in a rush to get here!

Anyway, he's nearly 6 months now and progressing very well. He has a little "fake" cough he does to get attention, he's a real show pony!

Nice to meet you all and hope to chat soon!
