Liv has had a rash on both her cheeks for at least 6 weeks now. Some days its very mild, other days it looks very nasty. I have had countless doctors and health nurses look at her and nobody can give me an answer  . It doesnt seem to both Liv to much, probably me more as it looks awful.

The last doc thought it may be eczema, has anyone elses bub had it on their cheeks and no where else? She is teething, but it's definately not a dribble rash.

 Hi Tracy. Just thought I'd share about when Tristan had this. He was about 18 months, I think, and his cheeks were so red and almost scaly. I changed pillow cases and soaps etc... but it just stayed. Then i ralised I had recently changed washing machine liquid, to Earths Choice mind you! I immediately went back to the old one and it cleared up with never a return! I also found that for the first time in my life, I developed dermatitis on my hands when I used Earths Choice washing up liquid. I stopped this pretty quickly too.
Have you changed any washing powders/liquids recently?

My DS has eczema which started few weeks ago and it is only on his cheeks. It seems to get worse when he is warm (just had a bath or heater is on too high). Our pediatrician told us we need to always keep him cool

A cream I use with DS1 eczema (including on the face) is Hemp butter from the body shop. DS1 just had a bad case on his legs and it clear it up really well. He use to get a bad rash around his mounth, down the chin and on the cheeks. We stop giving him orange (including juice) and it has gone. Sometimes if he has tomatos it may come back a bit, but nothing like it was.
