I don't have a husband who is FIFO but very much at home. The problem us he doesn't Like being a father and won't do anything with us. It's hard doing things on a weekend when you see happy families spending time together knowing you will never have that. There doesn't seem to be a forum for "dad doesn't want to spend tome with kids so mom does it all" and the closest group of people who may relate are those who's partners are traveling.
I'm looking for moms who are tired of being at home on the weekend because they have no one to go out with. I gave a 2 year old and if you are looking to star getting out and about and getting out of the lonely head space you may be in, let me know. I'm new to this country so not only do I have no friends but no family to have coffee with. Dont worry I'm not looking for shoulders to cry on as your burden of having a partner far away is heavy enough, I am just looking for company.
