SwaddleBees help!

I got my fluffy mail from The WeeWuns today :smiliedance:

I know that i'll probably be shot down for this question but i'll ask anyway so please go easy on me.. (keep in mind that im a n00b)

I ordered 3 x SwaddleBee AIO's and ticked the add optional hemp insert box for an extra $7.. okay so is the actual hemp insert the bit thats sawn on the actual nappy pocket or is it suppous to be seperate and i just didn't recieve it ? :confused: :detective: :o

If someone could verify this that would be awesome..

I don't actually use that brand but I would presume (this is my guess) that it would be seperate to the nappy.

My intitial thought was the same.. i just didn't want to jump the gunn before thinking the hemps were of course unintentionaly left out of my order IYKWIM.

If you have gotten the AIO's & then opted for the optional hemp then it should be separate as far as i can see.
But yeah speak with Janie its a better idea cause then you can get it all sorted :yes:

hiya....I got these too...the hemp will be a seperate insert..like a booster. The bit already sewn isn't hemp and thats exactly how mine came, I didnt get the hemp. Small though, arent they??

Okay awesome thanx Allyoo and babytoo.

They are a tad small looking but i haven't tried it on Ducky yet. Shame i was busting to try them out over the weekend. Are they okay to use without a booster or hemp insert ? if so, how long do they usually last ? I don't even have any boosters or hempies here yet coz i'm waiting to recieve them and other fluffy mail from left right and centre. :(

They are fine to use just as is...it lasted me around 2 hours today and took it off for DD bath so she may have got longer out of it. I find that with all my nappies I only used the microfibre (green kids, fuzzi bunz) and don't have to boost them as they will last around the 3 hour mark without the hemp. The Green Kids won't have this in built piece that the Swaddlebees has....do I make sense?? lol

You can try them without the extra hemp you may find it wont last as long being that they are AIO's already they should be fine !
No other insert will fit in a SB cause they are so very very trim btw so you will have to wait until you recieve the extra insert.

Mel well lets just say i have 3 snuggle butts, 3 AIO's, one that i bought off PoshBecks..

I'm waiting on..



5 greenies (3 anytimes and 2 funtimes), 1 fruitsalad, 2 BB's, 2FB's, 1 uniquenappy, another 2 from ozebaby, 11 hempies and 12 boosters, bio liners and a nappy sprayer.

There's alot more nappies that i've probably left out i just can't think straight atm.. in total im waiting on 16 more nappies i know that much. I know i'm far behind you nappy addicts, but i am catching up.. FAST :laughing:

Oh I'd hate to count my stash :eek: I so want some coloured BB bamboo but I dont think I can justify MORE nappies. Plus I have 3 yards of PUL, 2 mtrs of bamboo towling and a metre of hemp terry just waiting to be sewn if I find the energy and time :rolleyes:

(PS you should have got a separate booster, Im sure Janie will fix you up quick smart)

Nothing but good reports from me. They are very absorbant without the hemp inserts. Yesterday we were out for a while and she had a nappy on for almost 4 hours.. couldn't have pushed it any further though. They are also very trimming. So i would get a medium for Sav and obviously a large for Isobella.

Oh that swaddlebee looks lovely, not all puffy.

I am waiting on my 2x greens, one funtime and one anytime, and also my trial pack of Beehinds although I am a bit doubtful about the Beehinds, but you never know. I want to use my knitted soaker, that's the main reason I bought the Beehinds.

I have one fleece Pookey Pocket which I absolutely LOVE, its so cute. And I have one Erica nappy which I haven't tried yet.

I also ordered a WAHM AIO which should be coming during the week. ("WAHM AIO", ha ha, talk about a secret language!).

I have had two Sandras Stuffables in the cupboard for ages but I don't like them. Too puffy. I am going to keep them just in case I change my mind when I am well and truly into the world of cloth.

We were at the supermarket today and had to buy nappies. DP was like "but aren't you going to use cloth ones or something?" and I am like "yeah, so I need to start buying more of them, I need 26 of them apparently. He goes "oh, okay" which I take as absolute permission to buy 26 cloth nappies.

I was talking with Baz just earlier about how all we need to do is spend about $500 at most on things for the new baby when im pg :rolleyes:
All we need is either a bassinet or hammock then a bucket load of nappies !!!!
Then we can wait till the baby bonus comes in to get the new cot etc etc.
He agreed & nodded along etc now i take that as free rule when i finally do fall pg !!

I think DH is use to my retail therapy now. I have a problem with spending money and then worrying about it. Luckily we havent become stuck, YET!!!! :D
