Calling all CP checkers...

I posted this in another thread and its gotten 30 views since and no responses so I thought I'd be a pushy cow and start a thread.. :o

is it normal that im on CD6, just finished AF and when I check CP there is a hard lump next to the dip? the hard lump is the easiest thing to feel, and i have to kinda feel around to find the dip. the lump is smooth, painless and is about the size of a half a pea. I felt it last night and I've been freaking out ever since...

Ive done some googling, and come to the coclusion that it could be anything from a normal cervix to a sigh that my entire bottom half is about to rot off.

Anyone have the same kind of thing? had it checked? or have the same thing, had a pap smear and it came back normal or abnormal?

sorry no i havent had that. If you're worried, I'd go to the Dr and get it checked out???

hey af for me ended few days ago and i have a lump about pea size doesnt hurt its smooth and its in frount of the dip i have to run the tip of my finger over the lump to feel the dip, my last pap was like 2years ago i got a letter few weeks ago im due again and hmmm yeah i havent been i should go, but yeah sounds like we have the same thing, as time goes on the lump goes away but comes back again after AF i 1st felt this a few months ago...

I have it too.. but i think we are O.K. Im sure mines been there for ages.Pap smear always a good idea - I also should book in.Perhaps next month we can have a TTC with Pea Lump thread?! :) :)

i wonder with the lumps there if it makes it harder on us TTC? like maybe it might block the dip and the lil boys cant get in there? hmm id book in for a pap but i dont have a doctor where i live atm just moved here few weeks ago.

I am too scared to book for Pap incase I caught the egg this month.. I will have to book in CD 6 I think, to minimise risk.. Is there even any risk?

everything ive looked at has said its safe to have a smear during pregnancy, but asking the doc before you have it done couldnt hurt. I'm going to be CD9 on monday so I should be ok, i thought about it too. I'd have done it today but AF is still on her way out the door and you cant get it done when shes about.

I noticed it when AF was here a few months ago, I always pressumed It was linked to that but when I had my M/c I asked the Gyno about it. He said that it is quite normal for women to have lumps there but all lumps should also be checked out- just in case.
I didn't get them to do a pap smear on me there and then - (I probably should have said oh well while your down their why dont you just scratch of some more and do a test on it.) The time just didn't seem right. So I still need to go ang get my smear done.

I will call my Gp and get one done next week (cant this week have dreadful Aunt flo and her pet Pea lump on the cervix visiting.)

I did it!
I got a pap smear and exam (she said everything looked fine! and my pea lump was gone anyway, I'm going to assume it is a friend of AF's lol), I got a breast exam (noones played with them except DP in years, it was weird!) and a skin exam, which curiously was the most mentally uncomfy thing, standing there in bra and panties while she went over every inch of my skin with a torch and magnifying glass, looking for abnormal pigmentation (i have one little spot she doesnt like, but we are just keeping an eye on it)
other than that, all good! and I feel better :D so go have it done, ladies!
