Hi

I'm really finding this such a difficult choice!

Just wondering if anyone can give me any information, opinions or experiences for the following schools please?

Padua College Kedron
Marist College Ashgrove
Mt Maria College Mitchelton/Enoggera

Thank you in advance...

I don't have school age children yet, but I wasn't in highschool that long ago.

Padua college has some good points, but they also had bullying issues (at least in 06), they also have a very strong masculine culture, which is fine if your son's are fairly typical "boys" but they don't do as well if they are more sensitive.

My Hubby went to BBC (left in 02 because of sever bullying) which I would NOT recommend, and the to St Joseph's College ("Terrace") and loved it. Our son's (if we have any) will be attending Terrace, the culture is great, the teachers are supportive and they foster the individual, they have a zero tolerance bullying policy and generally a fantastic school.

If you are interested in co-ed schools, St Peters Lutheran collage (in indoorpilly) also has a wonderful reputation, they turn out a lot of well rounded, successful happy students.

Goodluck making your decision, schools can be so hit and miss and seem to fluctuate a lot depending on the principle and students at the time.

Hi,
My brother went to Marist Ashgrove and loved it!! He was a boarder though and is still great mates with all his school friends. My cousins also went there (my Aunty had 7 boys- poor her!) and they all loved it as well. Great school!
