TMI...cm early pregnancy??

Hi girls! I am due for af today and she hasn't showed yet. I feel like I will start anytime though. I have had some light cramps and bbs are sore and swollen. But my cm is dry like before period. Does this mean I am out of the game this month? Have any of you dried up around af time and were in fact pregnant? I just figured I would have more cm if I were pregnant. Any thoughts?

Hi wantagirl, my cm was non existent before I got my BFP. I seriously thought AF was coming cos I had cramps too. But, I know lots of other ladies have really creamy cm before they get their BFP. Maybe just take a test so you know what's going on. Let us know how you go. Good luck :fingerscrossed:

Well, I did a test and it was negative. I do feel like I will start soon, so I guess I am in for another long month of trying again... Thanks anyway girls!!

Hi, just want to add in both my pregnancies i so thought i was getting my AF's i had every symptom and felt like it was coming at any moment but just for the hell of it i did a test and was very shocked to get BFP's, so you never know hey!;)

I was just skimming thru some posts and came across your username. I want to change my name to wantagirl2 hehehe, I love it! :laughing: I thought it was so funny, I tried to PM you but it wouldn't let me so I thought I would post you instead!

I'm in the exact same boat as you, well sort of, I have 2 beautiful boys and desperately desperately want a girl. I'm not ttc as yet but last week we decided for sure that we were going to ttc next year. After my DS2 was born and we realised we had another little boy we didn't speak about ttc for a long time although I know it was on both our minds. While I was pg we said that if our bub turned out to be a boy we would seriously think about ttc a girl.

I've bought the shettles method book in preparation and my SIL bought over her maybe baby on the weekend for me to have a look. Have you thought about buying one of those as it will help you work out and track your cycles. I have no idea on the accurancy of them but my SIL swore by it.

I read in another post that you feel nervous about ttc a girl, I know what you mean I feel really nervous too. For me, its the idea of having 3 boys and never having a girl. I love my boys and I would love any baby I had whether it be boy or girl but its a bit depressing to think about never ever having a baby girl.

It was very refreshing to read your post as I realised so many women are in the same boat as me and I don't feel as selfish about how I feel anymore. All of my friends have girls and they really don't understand when I talk about it how much I long for a girl because they already have their girls. I think if it never happened for me I would always feel like something was missing. I would be very sad. :crying:
