i tried that my son was fine whilst drinking but screamed for an hour after each feed and still threw up the same amount but because it became thick he was choking on it and it aso made hi m extremely constpated.

so my pead suggested normal formula i use s26 gold, with infant gaviscon in it and it is fantastic

Sorry I haven't tried that one. I b/f but when I used formula I used Nan HA Gold, it is a bit more hypoallergenic than most so kids that have milk intolerences are fine on it. You can thicken that with infant gaviscon and it also contains probiotics which are really good for them.

i was useing the novalac sweet dreams one (it to is thick) an was great, but i dont think its really suitible for over 6months.
Not sure if mine gets reflux or not but she spues up alot on normal stuff but dont have a prob on thicken formulas, sorry didnt mean to hj

I just wanted to add novalac is tops :D
