Couple floating on dolls rescued on Yarra

sigh .. I initially thought this was rather funny (since I assume that they are the *cough* adult .. style of inflatable doll .. lol) .. but then after the floods and all the other dramas .. all I could think about was that this really wasn't a NECESSARY rescue???

I assume that these two 19 year olds .. weren't in danger in rising floods - and so grabbed two dolls for safety (cause ... most people have inflatable dolls around in case of raging floods .. lol) ... but instead .. that they just thought .. oooh this idea sounds fun. Instead of being FUN - they have put the lives of rescuers at risk .. and they have added to the exhaustion of tired workers .. all for a bit of fun on the river ...

I dont know how people down south feel .. but up here atm .. everyone is just plain exhausted ... and to waste manpower saving people who are just being plain silly .. is frustrating. sigh *steps down off her soap box .. apologising for her crankypants*

Well.. I am down south and I felt the same. Plus victoria is having flooding too, so to jump in the Yarra is odd and there are water rescues going on in rural Vic everywhere here and it is on the news. Glad they had to go rescue these twats.
