I'm just wondering how long after losing your little one that your period returned?

I gave birth to James 8 weeks ago and so far I haven't had a period, or any signs of one! The hospital told me it should take about 4-6 weeks...

I didn't have any sickness with my last pregnancy and only thought i may have been once i put on weight and my body started changing (i haven't had a period for years due to different contrceptions) at 17 weeks! I guess I'm starting to get a bit worried because my hubby and i have been a bit a lazy with the protection...

Almost 4 weeks to the day - I had 3 weeks post partum bleeding, then a week off, then what I think was a period. I'm pretty sure it was because a month later I had my next period.

Mine returned 34 days later and second cycle was 33 days which was a few days longer than normal for me.
Hope you get an answer soon.

Thanks ladies, even though it's late i've decided not to stress just yet. I've got my followup gyno appointment next week so will speak to him bout it then.

Figured that with starting a new job last week and all the anxiousness with xmas and now the floods (i'm a qld-er) maybe stress has kept it away....

Hi, I took 3 months! And then my cycle was really out of whack. Stress can definitely be a factor so try not to...easier said then done sometimes :)
