Any south-side Brisbanites can help me with this? I had to go have an U/S few weeks ago just to date bubba, cause I am shocking with remembering last period and such. Went on over to Sunnybank Women's Diagnostic Centre, cause they are close and I rely on public transport. Well, at the end, they bulk billed me. When I rang to book my morphology scan at the same place, they told me that it would be $200 after rebate!! Then she hung up, and she was so rude that I don't think I want to ring back.
But what I want to know is, why was I bulk billed for the last one but not this one? I have a health care card, was she just sprouting crap? My savings are EXTREMELY limited right now, so I don't know if I can afford to be out of pocket $200 at the moment, especially with my oldest back to school the next week. Anyone know what is going on? Places I could go instead on the southside (keeping in mind that I am in Runcorn with only public transport as a means of travel)? I am 20 weeks on the 23rd, so I am running out of time to book as well.
