If you want to do something to help, drop off points are across Adelaide accepting donations of toys, clothing etc. Below is a list of their accepted items.
There are drop off points all over the place, all USTOREIT's are accepting donations TOMORROW ONLY FRIDAY 14TH JANUARY, and from then on donations are accepted at the Wayville Showgrounds, from Saturday 15th Jan until the following Sunday.
"Because we know a lot of families have been affected by the Queensland floods, we are looking for items that would bring a smile to the faces of their children who, have potentially lost all their Christmas presents and personal belongings.
With this in mind, we'd like this appeal to focus on the collection of the following items:
Board games (clean and in working order)
Developmental toys and rattles (clean and in working order)
Dolls, teddy bears or soft toys (clean and in good condition)
Fiction or non fiction books (suitable for young teens)
Colouring in or activity books (new or unused, not second hand)
Baby books (clean material, bath or cardboard books)
Outdoor toys including ride ons (clean and in safe, working order)
Building blocks (clean and in good condition)
Bath time toys (only accepting as new or unused)
We also would like to help families whose nurseries and kids rooms have been destroyed, so we will be collecting the following items also:
New, clean nursery decor
Cot or toddler bed linen (new or clean and in excellent condition)
Nappies (NEW in unopened packets)
Baby care toiletries (NEW in unopened packets)
Kids clothing and shoes (MUST BE clean and in good condition - no holes or marks)."

I am volunteering at one of the dropoff locations - hope you can all dig deep and pass on what you no longer need!
