Hello
I was just wondering off the top of your heads anyone with a 35 day cycle do you still ovulate 14 days after cd1.
I know you have to do temps and everything but i was just wondering if it was like a 28 day cycle where you ovulate aftr 14 days
Hi Shorty, my cycles are between 28 and 34 days and I O anywhere from CD 16 to CD 24. I was temping for 4 months before I got pg and every month was different.
IMO the 28 day cycle with O on CD 14 is a myth, every woman is different.
It is more likely that you would ovulate around CD21. While the time from AF to O varies significantly from woman to woman and from cycle to cycle, the time from O to AF (the luteal phase) is usually very regular (at around 14 days). This can vary a little bit, but this is probably the closest thing you'll get to a best guess with no other information.

 from what I have been told, and my body has just recenly gone crazy and is now on 35 day cycles. you O 14app before you start you next af. so this is why they say 14 day into your cycles if you have a 28 day cycle cause that works both ways ... do I make any sense at all :banghead:
Anywho have fun bding
I have between 26 and 35 day cycles and ovulate between day 13-16 and my LP varies most months. I think the 14 day rule definitely does not work for everyone. I would recommend trying OPK's and temping so you can work out when you ovulate. Good luck :)

You should add a day for everyday you cycle passes 28 days. So if you were a 30 day cycle it would be day 16. You should ovulate on day 21 for a consistantly 35 day cycle. I had a 40 day cycle last month and ovulated the 25th cd. I usually have a 38 day cycle though. I am crossing my fingers for no af as it should have arrived today and hasn't yet, wish me luck for no af!!
