How to word invites

Ok i know im jumping the gun a little but i like to be an organised person.

DH, mum and I have decided to have baby shower for #2 on the 3rd of December (10 days before my scheduled c-section) because its the only weekend day that DH has off that doesnt coencide with other things.

Anyways, it also happens to be my fathers birthday that day. DH's birthday is on the 1st of December and DS's second birthday will be on the 17th (but i might still be in hospital)...........so mum and i have decided that the baby shower will also combine DH, DS and Dads birthdays so we can have one celebration instead of lots of little ones because frankly i think i wont feel like having parties once bubs comes (and considering how close Christmas is to when she will be born).........

I need some advice on how to word the invites!!!!!
I need to say its a combined birthday party for DS, DH and Dad plus a baby shower for the "bump"

Anyone creative out there that can help?

Here's the wording we used for my invitations, maybe it will give you some ideas, especially if you can re-write the poem to include the other celebrations?

Kimmie's wait is almost over
Many months have now gone by,
Soon she'll see her baby's face
And she'll hear her baby's cry!

So we are having a get together
Before her baby comes
To celebrate new life, family & friends
We hope you can join the fun.

Please join us for our party
For Kimmie, the mum-to-be
And for her little baby
Who we're all waiting to meet!

Just been searching on the web. My friend is making the invites but wants me to come up with the wording. I like this one as well:

Bottles, booties, nappies, pins,

They are all good wording but unfortunately its not just a baby shower its 3 birthdays (DS, DH and my father) and a babyshower all rolled into one!!!! How do you word that?????

its 4 am this is my 5th trip to the loo tonight and I cant get back to sleep...so what else do you do write a poem for bub hub :yes:

Im not super traditional or gooey and sentimental so neither is this but maybe it can work for your situation clarebear...

Come one, come all to party central
but when you discover what's happ'nin you might think we're mental

Our Darling Sons birthday is rolling around
His dad's and grandad's also abound

So everyone's happy all rolled into one
But what about mum and our new little bun

A Baby Shower's the thing to do
So we'll add that to the party list too

Now you see how it's all come together
there's nothing left but hope for good weather

We hope you can come
And join in the fun

This party for us is an important family affair
And we'd be really delighted if you could be there.
