HEEEELLP!!! Ideas

My DH was 27 on Monday, and cos of the boys, we weren't able to plan anything to celebrate it for him. So now I'm planning a surprise B'day party for him.

I'm looking for somewhere, anywhere, that has a buffet type thing happening. I don't want Sizzler, cos I don't think it's very Adult Party material. I've tried calling Crushers at The Grange but they don't do group discounts. buggers. and their meals are $25 a head. We have friends with young kids so $50 just for the adults meals is quite exxy...

Anyone have any ideas on where we might be able to book, that is kid friendly, and family back pocket friendly?

I was going to suggest Bronco's, but its price is probably much like Crushers. They have a good kids room though, and the seafood is quite good on Friday and Saturday nights...

I am not sure of where you live, but spinnacers at Woody Point is very nice. Smorgasboard dinner and the last time we went it was $18 per adult not sure of the price now but kid friendly, nice food if it is close to you give it a go.happybirthday

Try your local RSL or even the Kedron Wavell RSL. They have smorgasboards and i think they even have seafood smorgasboards either once a month or once a fortnight. I am not sure what the deal is getting if you or a member of your party are not a member at an RSL anywhere, but maybe just phone them and ask?
Perfect for an adult type party as there is food, affordable alcohol and pokies if anyone wants to have a flutter!!

Where abouts in Brisbane are you? (I assume Brisbane as you mentioned Crushers and the Broncos :detective: )
