12 week 4d ultrasound any guess on sex?

Hello all,

went for my 12 week scan recently and got some awesome pics of bub no 3!, and have been reserching about the genital hub theory and are thinking based on this it might be a girl!, but are worried my hopes are swaying my judgment as Im praying for a princess with 2 boys already!, but need some help!, anyone familiar with the theory and can help?

i thought you needed to see the genital area to see if it was boy or girl? I know with Pearly that she had 3 lines and the sonographer said 3 lines that is the labia, fob then said what is a labia and i just laughed and laughed. Got me pregnant but didnt know the bits.. lol

well based on my research at the 20 week point this is possible but at around 12 weeks, both sexes have a genital hub which is angled certain ways for each gender!, the theory is that if its more inline with the spine and less than 30 degrees to the spine it will be a girl and if sitting higher its a boy!

Great photo. With bubs that young it's hard to tell. The bulge looks like a boy but it could be anything at this point. Not a great shot for gender prediction but gorgeous keepsake photo.

You really need a crotch shot to see the nub, I've no idea from that photo but it is a gorgeous one! I hope you get what you're hoping for :D

Sorry but i have to agree that you can not tell gender by this picture, i have a friend whom is a radiographer and she spoke to sonographers who said that 3 lines indicates a girl but is also not very accurate at this point. Good luck, i also am pregnant, just 10 weeks with 2 boys already. Having had a recent m/c i dont care wat it is as long as its healthy but would be lying if i didnt have some hope for a girl.

You are right about the Nub theory but unfortunately 4D are not the best to guess from, do you have any 2D profile shots from 12-14wks? I can see a bulge in you pic but as you need to make a guess based on the angle and this pic gives no clues sorry. :)

I have a girl after two boys also and my nub guesses were correct.

Very hard to tell, it's easier to tell with a normal ultrasound so u can see the Nub's angle but I can't tell from your picture, it's very cute though!
