I had a Steelcraft Ebony layback umbrella stroller. From memory they retail for around $190-220. I thought it was great. It has a pouch at the back for your keys and purse etc, and a small shopping basket underneath.
We sold ours when we were planning on buying a double pram, and now we're kicking ourselves cause we got given one!! :banghead:

ive the the childcare nero
Well i just went to Target and i bought one! Its called Teutania (?) ,I think its german! The logo has a little rainbow at the end..It was $499!!!!!
But i got it for $99!!! I couldnt believe it! It doesnt lay all the way back but I will be using it for Jazz(15mnths) And then when our bub is born i will carry him/her in the baby bjorn for the first couple of months anyway so by then he/she will be fine sitting in the stroller with it reclined a bit. Also I can attatch a skateboard thing to it for Jazz to ride on..
I cant believe i got it so cheap! Was very happy with myself this morning..till i reversed into someone in the carpark!!:o

Sorry about your accident Jazzysmum. That's enough to ruin anyone's day:thumbsdown:
What weight does it hold up to? It is more like a pram or an umbrella stroller?
I'm looking for something lightweight for Ry, just for the odd occasion, although he is now 16kgs:eek:
Rynosmum- Its quite sturdy so to me it seems not as flimsy as an umbrella stroller (like the cheapy ones) .Its nice and padded and Im not sure what the weight restriction is but im sure it would hold him.
i will post a photo this afternoon and you can see what i mean!

Quite good quality and I got it on sale for $99, only complaint is that its very hard to access the basket below because there is a steel cross right above :banghead: but besides that its pretty good in my opinion!

Ryno's Mum - I recently got myself a lightweight stroller for DD.
I had a bit of a look around at shops, and online, and discovered one that I liked. I couldn't find it in shops nearby, but I did manage to find it on the Babies Galore website, and ordered it from there.
It's a Valco Urban Ultra-light. It weighs approx 5kg (its SO light!) and folds up, fairly flat (not umbrella). You can open and close it with 1 hand, and it has a strap on the side so you can carry it (good for buses).
There's a shopping basket underneath, comes with a rain cover and a shade cover too. It also has 3 positions...the lowest of which is not QUITE a full recline, but close enough.
Including courier (postage), it cost me $199.95 (it's $179 without postage I think). I ordered it on a Friday, and got it on Monday!
It carries a 6-month-old to a 4-year-old (according the info booklet).

Rynosmum- I just had a look and the max weight is 15kg... so i wont bother posting a pic!

Ah I saw these on sale at Target Joondalup in Perth too for $99 they remind me a bit of a bugaboo style pram.
